eads of Michigan: The Petoskey Stone
Sunapee Graniteworks's American Bead Collection is excited to present the October bead- Beads of Michigan: The Petoskey Stone! It is a fossilized coral and hails from the shores of Upper & Lower Peninsulas of Michigan and was named after an Ottowa Chief, Pet-O-Sega. He was the son of an Ottowan princess, Petosegay, whose name means " Rays of Dawn and Sunbeams of Promise." For those who know our story, the Rays of Hope and the Sun on our bead caps, you know why we felt compelled to craft this bead.
Beads are sold individually.
